worship ministry

If you are a Christian, you have the Spirit of God within you. This means that the presence of God, rather than being a place for you to enter and leave at will, is a place you permanently reside. Our worship cannot be a once-a-week occurrence but rather a daily experience and expression. Worship is not merely singing or showing up to church, but a daily offering of who we are and what we have to God - a "living sacrifice." It is working hard in the small, mundane tasks of your daily life. It is using your gifts and talents to further His Kingdom. It is a moment-by-moment self-denial - an almost constant reminder that we work, laugh and play in the very presence of God.

The worship ministry at the Campus House realizes the limited nature of its responsibility. We work very hard on making our music, sermons and meditations excellent, because it is a service to Christ and His Body, but We also understand that worship happens because God's People acknowledge His presence and respond appropriately. Our job on Sunday mornings is not to usher people into the throne room, but to remind them that they are already there - God will take care of the rest.
